Planting in a small and difficult to cultivate the court .....?
I have a small townhouse backyard. The fact that they are surrounded by close of privacy, sustained by a wooded area and a playground for a small dog (terrier mix), makes the grass grow, plants and flowers much less impossible. The soil is very hard and tends to grow moss. The grass is it hopeless? Or should I just mulch around reducing the mud when it rains. Clearly, plants and flowers should be non-toxic to my dog and should be limited to avoid digging or uprooting. Of Suggestions? It is regarded as simply replacing plant hangers and flower planting in the ground, but I have a beautiful garden courtyard oasis lush.
If you have then you have the damp moss, probably with poor drainage. I think you have plenty of shade as well. If you want the grass you will have to fix the floor, and used to grow grass in the shade and sun. Make raised flower beds with retaining wall or wood / Install electric fencing around the underground low flower / garden beds and train the dog to stay outside.
